Business Marketing Analyst - Guernsey
The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter who is able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, take ownership of deliverables end-to-end with minimal supervision, prioritise workloads effectively and thrive in a dynamic environment. You must also be able to work well under pressure, meeting ongoing and overlapping deadlines within rigorous time constraints. The role involves decision support and forward-looking business and operational planning, ongoing business information analysis, competitive and industry-trend analysis, business metrics analysis and financial forecasting, and business performance measurement. Candidate requirements: ~Outstanding analytical and strategic thinking skills, including demonstrable general problem-solving skills and an intense curiosity regarding identifying trends and fulfilling business needs ~A proven track record of defining, executing and/or overseeing key analysis projects ~Passion for using data to drive better decision making ~Expertise in tailoring communication to the needs of business and technical stakeholders ~Experience of using statistical modelling for decision support purposes ~Excellent verbal and written communication skills ~Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and experience in modelling, analysis, research and presentation creation ~SQL skills would also be an advantage
