Carla was born in the UK and educated in Yorkshire, where she gained her NVQ Level II in business administration.  In 1996 she moved to Guernsey, where she worked in the trust industry for eight years before joining AP Group as a consultant for AP Personnel.  Here Carla was responsible for placing candidates in interim positions in various industries.  While working in Guernsey, she sat the REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice and passed with merit.  In September 2006, having spent some months in London helping to establish the new office there, she returned to the island to concentrate on the permanent side of commercial consultancy. Carla now divides her working time between the Jersey and Guernsey offices, using her knowledge and experience to oversee AP Commercial in both islands.

Jersey-born Claire began her working life in an administrative role with the States of Guernsey. After six years she decided on a complete career change, moving into advertising sales with a highly successful local media company. Following a brief move to South Africa, she returned to Guernsey and spent time as a temp while considering which area she would like to work in. Recruitment appealed to her, so when an opportunity arose at AP Commercial, she applied immediately. Claire will shortly begin studying for the REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice.
